Tango no sekku

Koinobori is decorated for Tango no sekku (=Boys Festival) on May 5th.
Tango no sekku is called Children's day, we pray for children’s happiness and health.
Koinobori is a simbol of strength and success, and it also has meanig of protecting children from misfortune and evils.
